2027: Salawu Hosts LAUTECH Community, Deepens Consultations with Ibadan Indigenes.

The Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Oyo State, Engr. Muftau Open Salawu, FNSE, yesterday hosted a delegation of Ibadan indigenes within the LAUTECH community at his Oke Anu residence as part of his ongoing statewide consultations.

The engagement provided an opportunity for the stakeholders to reconnect over shared heritage while exchanging views on Ibadan, LAUTECH and issues affecting Ibadan indigenes and their communities.

The discussions featured questions, observations and personal experiences, with Salawu emphasising the importance of direct engagement and listening to the people.

According to him, every consultation offers an opportunity to better understand the experiences, concerns and aspirations of communities across Oyo State.

The Oke Anu meeting further underscored the consultative approach of his ongoing engagements, with emphasis on dialogue, inclusion and building stronger connections with stakeholders ahead of the 2027 political season.

The consultations are expected to continue across the state as Salawu engages various communities and interest groups on issues concerning their development and the future of Oyo State.
