The Chairman, Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, Wolekanle, has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde on his conferment with the prestigious title of Aare Asoludero of Ibarapa Land by the Eleruwa of Eruwa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola, Ajobo Olurin I.
Wolekanle described the honour as a fitting recognition of Makinde’s goodwill, people-centred leadership, commitment to peace and contributions to the development of Oyo State.
He said the conferment further reflects the Governor’s growing acceptance across traditional institutions and communities, noting that his inclusive approach to governance has continued to attract widespread respect.
Wolekanle also expressed confidence that Makinde’s leadership qualities, vision and development-driven governance would have a broader national impact, declaring that Nigeria would thrive under his presidency.
