Ologburo’s ₦10m Injection Rekindles Hope for Oyo Muslim Hospital.

OYO — Community leader and philanthropist, Alhaji (Chief) Babatunde Musibau Ologburo, has injected ₦10 million into the ongoing Muslim Hospital Oyo project, providing a significant financial boost to efforts to bring the long-awaited healthcare facility to completion.

The donation was disclosed by Imam Daud Igi-Ogun, Khādimul-Muslimīn of Oyo Kingdom and Chairman of the Muslim Hospital Oyo Project Commissioning Committee, who described the contribution as a major intervention at a critical stage of the project.

In a message of appreciation, Imam Igi-Ogun said the donation was received with “great joy and surprise,” commending Ologburo for demonstrating exceptional generosity and commitment to the success of the hospital project.

He prayed for Allah’s continued blessings, goodness and fulfilment upon the philanthropist, both in this world and the hereafter, while urging members of the community to join in prayers for him.

According to the cleric, the ₦10 million contribution represents a significant boost to ongoing efforts to complete the facility and strengthen healthcare services available to residents of Oyo and neighbouring communities.

The Muslim Hospital project is expected to expand access to quality and affordable healthcare, while complementing existing public and private healthcare infrastructure in the ancient town.

Imam Igi-Ogun, who is also the Sanmori Adini of Oyo Kingdom, commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his administration’s investments in the health sector, particularly ongoing developments at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, describing the initiatives as important to improving healthcare delivery in the state.

He also acknowledged Senator Monsurat Sunmonu for facilitating developmental interventions in Oyo, describing her contributions as valuable to the town’s continued development.

Ologburo’s latest intervention is expected to strengthen the momentum of work on the Muslim Hospital while encouraging other individuals, organisations and community stakeholders to contribute towards the successful completion of the project.
