2027: Oyo Youths Storm Abuja, Declare Makinde Their Choice for Nigeria’s Reset.

ABUJA — Oyo State youths turned out in impressive numbers at the commissioning of the Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Headquarters in Abuja, signalling growing enthusiasm for Governor Seyi Makinde’s presidential bid ahead of the 2027 election.

The mobilisation was led by the Director of Youth Mobilisation, Makinde/Adekanmbi Campaign Council, Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, who said the massive presence of Oyo youths reflected their determination to participate actively in the movement for a better Nigeria.

Speaking with journalists after the commissioning, Bolarinwa declared that Nigeria was “due for a reset,” describing Makinde as a tested servant-leader with the experience, capacity and track record required to drive national transformation.

According to him, Makinde’s record in Oyo State provides tangible evidence of what purposeful leadership can achieve, citing interventions in infrastructure, education, healthcare, economic development and youth empowerment.

«“Nigeria is due for a reset, and a servant leader like His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, is the best fit for this crucial assignment,” Bolarinwa said.»

He maintained that Nigerians, particularly young people, were increasingly conscious of the power of their votes and were prepared to use the 2027 election to demand leadership that restores hope, strengthens the economy and expands opportunities.

Bolarinwa urged Nigerian youths to take ownership of the electoral process, stressing that their collective votes would ultimately determine the direction of the country.

He added that the strong turnout of Oyo youths in Abuja was an indication of growing support for Makinde among young Nigerians, expressing confidence that the movement would gather greater momentum as the 2027 presidential election approaches.
