The Oyo State Police Command has arrested two suspected drug peddlers and recovered eight parcels of substance suspected to be Canadian Loud, allegedly concealed inside a car tyre.
The suspects were apprehended during an operation at a shop following intelligence received by the command, with police operatives reportedly requiring the assistance of a vulcanizer to retrieve the suspected drugs.
A vulcanizing machine allegedly used in concealing the substance was also recovered as an exhibit.
The suspects, who reportedly confessed to their involvement during interrogation, remain in police custody and are assisting investigators with the ongoing probe.
The command said the suspects would be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
